Born and raised in Knoxville, TN, Dr. Ashley Honey’s dream to become a veterinarian began when her childhood dog, a Golden Retriever named Sandy, was diagnosed with advanced-stage cancer. Dr. Honey completed her undergraduate training at the University of Tennessee and pursued her veterinary degree at Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her clinical interests include emergency medicine and intensive care, ultrasound, clinical pathology, and feline-friendly practice. Dr. Honey has been Fear Free Certified since 2018 and is passionate about making vet visits less stressful for both her patients and clients. Dr. Honey currently resides in Naples with her husband and many pets including her heart dog, an 11-year-old Golden Retriever, her Dachshund mix, and an array of cats and birds. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, scuba diving, and relaxing on the beach.
