Dr. Ashley Honey was born and raised in Tennessee, where her interest in veterinary medicine began after her childhood Golden Retriever, Sandy, was diagnosed with advanced cancer.  She is known for a thorough, detail-oriented approach to patient care and a strong focus on diagnostics. Her clinical interests include dermatology, clinical pathology, internal medicine, and emergency medicine, and she has advanced training in diagnostic ultrasound.Dr. Honey earned her veterinary degree from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee. She has been Fear Free Certified since 2018 and prioritizes low-stress handling with a particular focus on feline-friendly care.She lives in Naples with her husband and a full household of pets, including her heart dog, Asher, a 13-year-old Golden Retriever and cancer survivor. Their home also includes a Dachshund mix, several cats, and birds. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, gardening, watercolor painting, and spending time at the beach.
