Dr. Lane is originally from Columbus, Ohio. She has always loved being around animals and grew up with many different pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, goats and lizards. Her interest in veterinary medicine began in high school when she rescued a young kitten and with the help of a local veterinarian, nursed it back to health. She is a triple Buckeye as she received her undergraduate degree, Master of Public Health, and finally her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees all from The Ohio State University. Dr. Lane enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in veterinary dentistry. She has received advanced training in veterinary dentistry and oral surgical skills. Some of her favorite procedures include dog and cat tooth extractions, periodontal procedures, and oral mass/soft tissue surgeries. When not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Lane enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring her new home of Naples, Florida, and collecting and caring for tropical plants. She also loves relaxing with her two Boston Terriers (Beru and Jyn), two cats and caring for her two reptiles (Brazilian Rainbow Boa and Blue Tongued Skink).
